DEPRESSION 



  • it is a disorder in which person feel complete sadness and he starts losing his interest in all the day to day activities which he used to love once 
  • It can affect a person of any age group 
  • Many events such as dispossession, loss of job or loss of loved ones can lead to depression 
  • Depression can last from a week to years 


GENERAL SYMPTOMS OF DEPRESSION  

ALONE 
DEPRESSED 
  • sad mood 
  • lack of interest 
  • sudden weight loss or weight gain 
  • sleeping a lot or lack of sleep 
  • tiredness 
  • a feeling of constant guilt  
  • lack of concentration 
  • cyclic thoughts of death or suicide

  • she would be exasperated easily

  • they will stop sharing their problems with you 
  • if you all sit together they will not speak a word you will consider then as an introvert but the reality is they are suffering from depression  
CAUSES
  • There can be various causes but the exact cause is not known 
  • it can be due to genetic variations 
  • neurotransmitter changes 
  • psychological issues 
  • or bipolar disorder 
BEST TREATMENT

  • 1  If you think your child is suffering from depression  

  • be friendly 
  • talk to him/her
  • never tell him/her you are good for nothing this line doesn't motivate your child it shatters his /her efforts
  • play with him/her 
  • enjoy 
  • have dinner together 
  • stop arguments and fighting 
  • support your child 
  •  if depression has gone so far 
  • take him/her to a psychiatrist or to a counselor 
  • make him join a social club 
  • taking an early step before you lose you, child, completely 

2 If your parents are getting depressed as they become old 
  • give them time 
  • engage them in activities like planting plants
  • go to an outing with them 
  • tell them to go for a walk 
  • motivate them to do exercise 
  • never tell them that they are getting old 
  • encourage them 
  • make them happy 
3 Gym or exercise at home


it is believed that after doing stressful exercises your mind calms, it relieves stress 


  • go to the gym, do workout 
  • if you can't go to gym follow up these exercises 
  • 1 jumping jacks 
  • skipping 
  • running
  •  jogging 
  • plank                            
                                               
4 Start doing yoga 
  • yoga connects your body with your mind 
  • it will soothe your body 
  • it will clean your mind 
  • it will remove negative thoughts from your mind
Types of poses which you can practice and these  poses will prevent depression 

1 balasana - child pose 


2 setu bandasana - bridge pose 


3 urdhva Mukha svanasana ( upward facing dog)


4 adho mukha svanasana - downward dog pose 

5 halasana -plow pose 


5 Start playing games 

  • ludo 
  • cricket 
  • badminton 
  • khokho 
  • hide and seek etc


6 Meditation 







remember ----   If your symptoms are becoming  worse go to your doctor 

start it now, start living                        happily


one tip by my personal experience - write a motivational quote daily it will prevent negative thoughts and  will keep your brain active

  4. Quite informative and picturesque blog. A question can a "psychosomatic" disorder triggered by any event has a tendency to remain after that event has passed?

  5. If someone in diprresion not permanently as just few hour or few day or they can't sleep properly since 2/3 mnth is that symptoms of diprresion
